Motivation

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is an interdisciplinary field of robotics, and it has become enabling tools for various military and civil applications, such as aerial photography, search and rescure, surveillance, landscape mapping, reconnaissance and attack. The UAV market (excluding military segements) is predicted to reach 58.4 billion USD annually by 2026. Despite of its double-sided sword nature, we believe that disseminating technology details can intrigue new entrants, and hence benefit human society even more.

With this motivation, we present the Kerloud UAV series, which are a set of UAV platforms for UAV hobbyists and developers to facillitate their development with a common hardware and software infrastructure. The online documentation will provide detailed steps on how to setup and get started with ease for amateurs, and miscellaneous use cases are also shared for advanced applications.

About us

Cloudkernel Technologies (Shenzhen) is a technology-driven company geared towards science and technology education in robotics. We offer the following main products and services:
